Update on "My Humps"
The translation is done, and we have the video, and we was gona ask you all for some ideas of how to perform "My Humps" by the Black Eye Peas, but we think we got it!

It seems a few of our non-Chinese speaking friends are curious about the lyrics and the song details. I was thinking about
translating some of the other Chinese pop songs, but others have already beat me to some of them.
Like mentioned above, this song is a remake of "Black Black Heart" by David Usher. The theme is completely different, and
quite a bit more "mushy" or whatever. But the lyrics are great. I like it a lot, it's one of my favorites.
So here's the line by line translation. Note that I'm not a professional translator, but my English is pretty good, so any
problems will be from me comprehending the Chinese connotations. I got the lyrics online and proofed them, but there may be
still some errors (apologize!).
And of course, a translation will necessarily lose some of the original's poetry. I don't claim to be a poet and this was
done in less than an hour. And you certainly can't sing this translation to the song! :D
Since I'm not sure, and there may be some ambiguity built-in to the lyrics, I put parens and slashes (/) around alternate
meanings. And implied meanings or explanations are in (). People who understand this song better, feel free to correct!

I agree that its a difficult video, Ive seen it just to see what youre talking about and I really think its difficult to perform, especially that most of the time there is a woman, and there is not much of specific things you can imitate and make fun of; if you want some ideas, I would say that using some trick from other hip hop vidos I think might help, bling bling, asses, chests and thats stuff, dont know, but wish you good luck:)

you all are probably going to disapprove this comment or something (since i know you can read and understand this) but i just want to say....I think it's pretty obvious that you aren't who you say you are. I am chinese-american and have had the experience of trying to speak to my cousins in china and teach them english.
for instance:
you use a lot of english slang terms that mean nothing to chinese people in your posts. in china, they are taught textbook english, very formal dialog.
ex:
- "sick Spam" - in an old post..."sick" just means ill to chinese people..not the way you used it
- "a Happy Halloween!" chinese people dont celebrate halloween...they dont even know what it is in most places.
- "aka" - you're using the acronym for also known as? haha im sure.
- your old posts where you talk about other ppls blogs? wtf??
"Girlfriend gave me a call during the video, but I didn't let her ruin my groove. Bitch!" haha so your wonderful fluently english speaking friend "Lee" (great choice for a name btw...how stereotypical) translated that just right huh?
- "out of sync" - once again..sync? no meaning whatsoever to them.
so yea...delete away but keep in mind...not all of us are fooled.
